Angela Santiago Memorial Basketball Court
In partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Chicopee, the foundation helped fund and support the creation of the Angela Santiago Memorial Basketball Court. This safe, welcoming space provides youth with the opportunity to engage in sports, recreation, and mentorship programs.
The basketball court embodies Angela’s love for children and community, offering a place where young people can build confidence, teamwork skills, and positive relationships while enjoying healthy, structured activities.
Support for Youth in Need
The foundation provides direct assistance to children and families facing hardship, including youth living in state care. Support includes essential items such as winter jackets, clothing, and other necessities to ensure young people have what they need to stay safe, warm, and supported.
By offering this “pay-it-forward” type of love and care, the foundation reflects Angela’s spirit of generosity and compassion, ensuring that every child has access to the resources needed to thrive.
Scholarships
The Angela Santiago Foundation awards annual scholarships to graduating seniors from Chicopee High School and Chicopee Comprehensive High School. Each scholarship supports students pursuing college, trade school, or other career pathways, recognizing well rounded young people who demonstrate integrity, determination, and commitment to their future.
